Clayens NP Sud, welcomes the sub-prefect of the Ardèche !

On Thursday 27/04/2023, Mrs. Isabelle ARRIGHI, sub-prefect of the Ardèche accompanied by Mrs. Karine TAKES, Mayor of Beauchastel and her deputies, and Mr. Christian FEROUSSIER, Departmental Councillor of the Ardèche, came to visit the company NP SUD, located in the artisanal zone in Beauchastel.

A subsidiary of the CLAYENS Group, NP SUD employs 41 people. The company was founded in 1988 and specializes in plastic injection of small, highly technical parts for use in the electrical, medical and aeronautical markets. The company produces approximately 200 million parts per year.

During the visit, the branch manager, Mr. Sébastien COISSIEUX, explained to the elected officials how the injection process works, the specificities and constraints of plastic materials, as well as the improvements made to the processes in order to remain competitive (robotization, working conditions, etc.). For several years, the site has been taking steps to control its energy consumption. The exchanges with the elected officials also focused on the recruitment part, Mrs Line CHAREYRE, HRM of the site, specified that the site is looking for candidates with a technical profile. The company initially provides in-house training, then the employee receives training validated by a CQP (Certificate of Professional Qualification).
