Clayens innovates and thinks bigger !

Clayens has acquired new means capable of producing very high performance (PAEK/C) and very thick injected parts, with a tonnage of up to 1,800T.

Thermoplastics and the injection process are no longer in the limelight, as they enable us to meet a large number of challenges: speed, performance and recyclability, to name the main ones.

For a long time, the technology was confined to small parts, with low thicknesses and low criticality levels. In view of market developments, we had to come up with something new to meet these new challenges.

With many years of innovation and progress at every level, Clayens has recently made an investment to produce parts weighing several kilograms, capable of thicknesses greater than 10mm and meeting the highest standards in terms of structural and dimensional requirements.

This innovation would not have been possible without mastering the design and production of high-temperature and high-pressure tooling.

Operating in various fields, for all sectors of activity (Aeronautics, Mobility, Railways, Sport and Leisure, ...), the experience of our R&D teams now allows us to offer complete solutions with means and working methods adapted to any type of collaboration, from prototype to industrialization.

Clayens will be present from April 25th to 27th, 2023, at the JEC show in Paris Villepinte.
